Alaska is truly one of the world's most spectacular destinations - regardless of the season you visit. Options abound! Working together to plan your itinerary, I'll recommend such intriguing options and excursions as to how you can ride the last whistle-stop train in the USA, or plan your itinerary to explore and experience the largest National Park in the USA. Have I piqued your interest? I can also make arrangements for you to take part in a real sled dog tour, or make all your arrangements to take an ATV excursion to the historic village of Talkeetna - nestled at the base of North America's tallest peak, Denali.

I've been very fortunate to have been in the travel industry for over 25 years, and look forward to sharing with you my two favorite - and diverse - destinations New Zealand and California, and my specialty: Traveling with Disabilities.

First, we'll visit New Zealand. As a New Zealand Specialist Gold Level, I've tramped through forests, waded across snow-melting rivers, hiked up and down mountains, and stayed in accommodations that ranged from five-star+ to local farms -and everything in between - on these incredibly diverse North and South Islands.

My unique travel specialty - Traveling with Disabilities - is personal, as my aging parents have mobility issues and my sister - Down Syndrome. Having traveled with my family on numerous occasions and seeing and experiencing - first-hand - the special care they required, motivated me to become an expert and advocate!

Now...we're heading back to California and my home state.

As an experienced and knowledgeable travel advisor who has been fortunate to experience and explore much of our world, there are two destinations that are my very favorites: Italy and my home state of Utah. I look forward to sharing both with you.

To say that I'm passionate about Italy and all things Italian is truly an understatement! I've lived here and am fluent in Italian. I cook Italian, and I certainly eat Italian. I've studied all aspects of their enviable lifestyle, culture, cuisine, and accommodations, as well as experienced exciting and unique things to see and do. Whether this will be your first - or 21st - visit to Italy; whether you're traveling solo, as a couple, or part of multi-generational family group, I have the expertise to craft your itinerary to ensure that I not only meet -but exceed - your every expectation.

Next, we'll come back across the Atlantic and head to the beautiful western state of Utah. Adventures await!

I'm a family-focused travel advisor who shares a passion for two world-class, amazing destinations: United Kingdom, and California.

We'll start in the UK. I have extensive, first-hand knowledge about many UK venues and I'm eager to share my passion for the UK by creating highly-personalized itineraries. I am a certified Brit Agent, and family focused, as many of my excursions back and forth across the pond have been with my son in tow. As such, I've also experienced many of these destinations as a traveling mom, and know what attractions, restaurants, accommodations, etc. will appeal and be appropriate for families with children (e.g., a Harry Potter-focused adventure in London.)

Next, we'll come back home to California. So much more than Hollywood, the beaches, and Disneyland, California showcases charming, small towns; deserts, mountains, excellent food and wine, hiking, biking, great golf and that's just the beginning of all that this destination offers

Two of my favorite destinations on earth are Alaska and my native California.

Alaska offers unspoiled scenery, vast wilderness, spectacular glaciers, mountains, and wildlife. Travelers are spoiled for choice as our last frontier has a plethora of activities for both the adventurous type and those who prefer to visit ports of call via a luxury ship. Also, there are smaller expedition-style vessels for the active traveler that ply inland waterways for up close wildlife viewing, and often sail where the large ships cannot. In Alaska, you can kayak on the ocean, raft on rivers, watch for whales, hike, bike, or even enjoy an excursion on a vintage gold-rush-era train. The thrilling highlight of one of my journeys was landing on a glacier via an exhilarating helicopter ride!

California also showcases amazing scenery. There are redwood forests to discover, stunning ocean-front destinations like Big Sur, or Steinbeck's historic Monterey and the artist colonies in Carm

As a long-time, experienced travel advisor, I’m excited to share with you two of my travel specialties: Luxury Cruising and Expedition Cruising. I've been fortunate to sail with many luxury lines, on ocean and river, throughout the world and to experience - first-hand - a ship's onboard amenities, special services, and most importantly... the ship's ambiance and "personality." Equally as important is that I know the ship's different itineraries, shore excursion options, off-the-beaten path activities at each port, and "all" that will ensure that I've matched you with your perfect cruise.

I'm proud to say that I'm an expert for Alaska as well as a specialist for Sustainable Travel.

First, Alaska. As one who lives, breathes, and experiences unique destinations - no destination better describes "a perfect day" than this "Last Frontier." I look forward to sharing with you all that Alaska showcases, and why I love this Great Land! Together, with my husband and dog, we have explored Denali many times, driven well into the Arctic Circle - including a visit to the tiny miner town of Wiseman, and stayed at the least-visited and biggest National Park in the entire USA - Wrangell St. Elias (Did you know it is the size of Switzerland?).

Next, Sustainable Travel. I am eager to work with travelers who share my passion for sustainable travel, and to create unique, one-of-a-kind itineraries to destinations throughout the world.

On my most recent visit to the Last Frontier, I experienced multiple destinations that I look forward to recommending to you for your amazing Alaska vacation. While traversing the spectacular landscapes through Anchorage, Seward, Talkeetna, Denali and Fairbanks, I toured multiple hotels, enjoyed special add-on tours, great local attractions, and a variety of cultural interests. I've not only taken multiple cruises on different cruise lines, but explored the best of Alaska by land. I've visited many of the major cities, towns and villages, and sampled local cuisine at many of the most popular restaurants. Back what feels like a million years ago, when one of the first-ever all-inclusive resorts debuted in Mexico, I was intrigued! Since then, I have grown to love the all-inclusive concept, and have had the pleasure of experiencing and visiting many all-inclusive resorts throughout Mexico and the Caribbean. This all-inclusive concept has grown, changed, and matured into a category that not only meets but often exceeds the expectations of today's savvy travelers. In addition to providing expert advice on all-inclusive properties, I am also a specialist for Mexico. To say that I have first-hand knowledge of what to see and do in Mexico is an understatement, as I have lived in the Playa del Carmen area for over ten years, am fluent in Spanish, and I'm extremely familiar with the eastern region of Mexico including all-inclusive hotels and resorts, restaurants, attractions, and all that it offers!

Designing and crafting the perfect vacation, adventure, or getaway for you is what I do best. My expertise runs the gamut from sharing my personal experiences and expertise to "paint a picture" of what your perfect River Cruise adventure will be, and what your perfect California getaway can be. As your professional River Cruise specialist, we'll begin your journey with my learning which river and itinerary will best provide you the experience you're seeking. River cruising can be enjoyed on waterways in many enticing destinations throughout the world! Having sailed on more than 30 river cruises, I will share my personal experiences to paint you a picture of each river itinerary and what sets one apart from another.

Next, and closer to home, we'll explore California. Although Santa Ana is my home town, I truly consider the entire state of California as my home. Let me share with you just a sample of all the fun excursions I can craft for you.

Among my many varied travel passions and favorite destinations, the two that top my list are Israel and South Florida.

First, Israel. For over four decades, I've had the incredible opportunity to visit, explore, and enjoy this historic and beautiful country. In fact, I consider Jerusalem my second home. Now, I want to share Israel with you. I want you, too, to become immersed in the historic, cultural, and recreational aspects of this ancient destination. I want to share with you the extreme contrast between experiencing such holy sites as the Old City of Jerusalem as versus the cosmopolitan, 24-7 atmosphere of the seaside city of Tel Aviv. And that's just the beginning of all that I will share with you about this very diverse, world-renown destination.

South Florida. Truly, I live in vacation-land in Fort Lauderdale and the fun is endless! As a long-time nature and photography lover, South Florida has become my playground of sorts.

My goal has been to stay at all the major properties, primarily on the Strip, with the exception of a few downtown hotels and a couple of properties outside of town. I also stay current with updates from the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority (LVCVA) and Visit Las Vegas.

There is not one part of the spectacular state of Florida I have not explored. I know all the secret, off-the-beaten-path places to visit and all the amazing spots that make a Florida getaway very unique. From the Everglades to Fort Pickens...I've been there. Having been a Florida resident for almost 35 years, my eagerness to learn about different parts of the state continues to grow. With every trip and every adventure, I return home with more new experiences to share. That's what travel is all about: Love of the destination and the love of its culture. Personally, I love the outdoors! And of Florida's 11 National Parks, I've visited nine; and many, many of the state's 175 State Parks.

I have always had the Travel Bug. Growing up in Switzerland allowed me to explore the surrounding countries. I have now been a Travel Advisor living in Flagstaff, Arizona, for 30 years, and I have explored this beautiful state and the surrounding states extensively. Even though I have been a U.S. citizen for many years, I still travel internationally often and my most favorite destination (other than Switzerland!) is Peru. Peru is truly a magical destination that once you've been there you're hooked. My opportunities to experience this diverse destination run the gamut from hiking the Inca Trail and riding a horse from the Sacred Valley to Cuzco, to escorting a group of elderly travelers with mobility issues.

I have been immersed in the history, culture, a variety of ethnic cuisines, and the lifestyle of Mexico from birth, as not only were my mother and grandfather both from Mexico, I was reared in a Texas town along the Mexican border. I've traveled every region of this dynamic country and I know what each region offers and what makes it a special destination. Be assured that I can find something of interest for you, as Mexico showcases such unique diversity that it truly offers something special for everyone. Being fluent in Spanish also ensures that I can easily coordinate with my local professional contacts in making special arrangements for your itinerary. For example, since the enjoyment of the many different cuisines will be an important part of your itinerary here, I know where and how to arrange special cooking classes. Another opportunity working with my local contacts may be to arrange a private guide for your tour of Mexico's stunning pyramids..

Seattle was my home for many years and I still consider it my second home. I love to share this beautiful destination in the Pacific Northwest as there is so much to see, do, experience and enjoy. This city offers many opportunities - such as touring the many culturally-diverse and interesting neighborhoods, enjoying a delightful dining experience atop Seattle's Space Needle in the revolving restaurant, seeing the famous Fremont troll sculpture under the Aurora Bridge, taking a walk around Green Lake, hiking down to view Snoqualmie Falls, spending the day at the famous Pike's Place Market (and having a cup of coffee at the original Starbuck's), spending time at the Seattle Art Museum, Golden Gardens Beach, the Arboretum on Lake Washington, or taking the Underground Tour in Pioneer Square.
