First of all, I love Israel. I love the people, the food, the culture, and the customs. Jerusalem to me, is like walking into history, and my Bible coming alive. Jerusalem is the holy site for all three monotheistic religions. It’s more conservative, quiet, is inland in the hills, and it gets cold. Tel Aviv is an exciting modern city, more laid back, lots of cafes, restaurants, galleries, theatres and clubs… and it’s a coastal city with a temperate climate.

I would love to help you plan memorable and exciting travels to two countries that I have experienced and know well: Japan and Egypt. My approach to planning amazing journeys is to focus on the details that will make your vacation a wonderful and seamless experience. Having previously lived in Japan and continuing to visit and explore this beautiful country often, I'm very familiar with Japanese culture and geography. I'm also a Japan Travel Specialist with the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) and as such I am thoroughly knowledgeable about accommodation options, attractions, history, culture, cuisine and lifestyle to make sure this visit will certainly not be your last.

From the first time I stepped into Dubai, I was completely mesmerized with this amazing destination that is defined by superlatives: Tallest Building. Deepest Pool. Biggest Mall…. and the list goes on and on. Dubai truly offers something for everyone. I’m so fortunate to have recently experienced almost everything within this emirate - from the eye-opening cultural exchange at Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, to the bustling gold and spice souks, to the other-worldly desert safari where you can join the Bedouins for a meal and dancing as the sun begins to set on the dunes.

I am an Israeli native who chose the travel industry for a career, as my family and I relocated to the U.S. in 2006 to start the next chapter of our lives. During the three decades that I lived, worked, and traveled throughout Israel, I experienced and learned so much. Now, as a long-time travel professional in the U.S., I use that valuable knowledge and expertise to recommend Israel to my clients eager to enjoy and experience what this amazing country has to offer.

My most recent visit to these two intriguing and compelling destinations was right before the world shut down in 2020. I experienced and explored both Egypt and Jordan as my valued luxury clients would travel. With an independent itinerary, my travel partner and I stayed in superb luxury hotels, were transported in luxury vehicles, and learned so much from our outstanding, very knowledgeable guides, who made sure their clients had special experiences while touring. Someone said Italy was a passion, I call it an obsession. Traveling to Italy at least twice a year for the last 12 years has truly made me an addict. In addition to trying to explore every corner of Italy, I am an Israel specialist as well. Born in Israel but with an Italian heart, I love to share my insights, knowledge, and experiences in these two countries. From enjoying the "hip and trendy" Tel Aviv to experiencing the North region where you'll drive through Arab villages and see - first-hand - how the Jews and the Arabs live together. Take a jeep excursion with the head of security at a Kibbutz who will take you on a journey where you will meet with Israeli soldiers on active duty. From skiing in the Dolomites to sunbathing in Puglia, the passion I feel for Italy comes out with each conversation.

Among my many varied travel passions and favorite destinations, the two that top my list are Israel and South Florida.

First, Israel. For over four decades, I've had the incredible opportunity to visit, explore, and enjoy this historic and beautiful country. In fact, I consider Jerusalem my second home. Now, I want to share Israel with you. I want you, too, to become immersed in the historic, cultural, and recreational aspects of this ancient destination. I want to share with you the extreme contrast between experiencing such holy sites as the Old City of Jerusalem as versus the cosmopolitan, 24-7 atmosphere of the seaside city of Tel Aviv. And that's just the beginning of all that I will share with you about this very diverse, world-renown destination.

South Florida. Truly, I live in vacation-land in Fort Lauderdale and the fun is endless! As a long-time nature and photography lover, South Florida has become my playground of sorts.

My two favorite destinations are East Africa (which includes Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Uganda,) and the countries of Egypt and Jordan (albeit separated by the Suez Canal.) We’ll begin in the Middle East. Having lived in Egypt for six years in the 90s, I so look forward to returning as often as possible.

As a Destination Specialist, my favorite destination in the world is Dubai, and my favorite way to experience and enjoy new destinations is on a River Cruise. During my most recent trip to Dubai, I stayed both downtown and at the beach - as I often recommend both options to my clients. Since this was my first visit - post Covid, I checked out all the sites in both old and new Dubai, shopped for tea in the souks, went to Abu Dhabi, did the full grand mosque experience, and also spent a day in the desert. I generally arrange a mix of organized and spur-of- the-moment-tours in a destination to get a more immersive and revealing experience especially in destinations like Dubai that is both safe and multi-faceted. Dubai is more than a party city or stopover, it's a thriving cosmopolitan city with strong ancestral ties - yet liberal and welcoming. Travel is personal. In my 25+ years in the travel industry, I have been fortunate to have traveled all over the world and experienced many incredible destinations, but none have captured my heart - and my attention - like Israel. My first exposure to this historic destination was on a private tour when I fell in love with the country and the Israeli people. Seeing first-hand the historic sites that have been in existence since time began, was a life-changing experience. I returned home filled with a passion to share all the wonders Israel has to offer, and to help people experience this incredible destination. Having been born, reared, and educated in Egypt; a graduate of Cairo University, fluent in Arabic and a 30-year resident, I can honestly say: I know Egypt! Some of my especially favorite memories include riding a camel from my hotel to a dinner party out on the sand dunes with Bedouins in Sharm El Sheikh, taking a magical felouka (a traditional wooden sailing boat) ride along the Nile River in Aswan, or having coffee at Al-Fishawy - Cairo's oldest café founded in 1773, climbing the Pyramids of Giza, or visiting the grand temples of Abu Simbel.
