I have an insatiable craving to travel the world and explore every destination out there! For over 15 years, travel has played a pivotal role in both my personal and professional life. Travel has allowed me the privilege to discover and explore new destinations throughout the world, and to experience and enjoy six of our world's seven continents. Professionally, travel has enriched my knowledge, expertise and training to be able to craft and implement unique, one-of-a-kind itineraries. My areas of expertise are EAST AFRICA and HAWAII - two destinations for which I am wildly passionate because of their diversity, culture and beauty. I have a passion for animals, so the destination of Africa was for me. After my "bucket list" trip to South Africa, I knew I would be going back! And, I knew I wanted to share this compelling destination with as many of my clients as possible. The wildlife, the safari experience, and the wonderful African people are all part of the magic of Africa.

What started as a fascination for viewing animals in the wild became my profession. During the past 15 years, I've experienced and hosted numerous safaris in exotic locations throughout the world - ranging from multiple excursions in eight African countries, to the Arctic, Antarctica, India, Galapagos and Australia. In addition to holding multiple certifications, I continue my education keeping abreast of the animal viewing options as they evolve, the cultural/political situations in each destination, as well as accommodations and services updates to ensure that I provide you with the best safari experience possible.

Over the past 30 years, I have visited many destinations throughout the world. Yet my real passion is Africa. In fact, I've been told that "my face just lights up" when I start talking about Africa! During the last two+ decades, I've traveled here 25 times to explore Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Activities I've enjoyed, and that I can arrange for you, include walking and hiking excursions, canoeing, kayaking, cycling, snorkeling and diving. Your accommodation options can range from simple dome tents to super luxurious 5-star lodges. I have sampled every variety of cuisine from local bush food and delightful local wines to fine dining in award-winning restaurants. I have traveled the rails, hopped about in tiny planes, driven and been driven thousands of miles and cruised rivers and lakes. I have met, learned from, and been humbled by representatives of the Masaai, Samburu, Herero, Himba, Zulu, and Shona cultures, as well as from other cultures.

Recently, I spent a month in East Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, and South Africa to visit new lodges, camps and hotels which added to my existing knowledge base. Africa is my passion! Although I have visited all seven continents, when asked my favorite, it's always Africa. My most recent South African adventures were with two groups that I escorted. We started in Cape Town and enjoyed extensive sightseeing. Next, we spent three glorious nights at a wine estate in Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. From there, we flew directly to Krueger National Park and enjoyed spectacular game drives in both the Sabi Sand and Timbavati areas of the Park.

I've explored and experienced this magnificent African continent nine times arranging and conducting safaris throughout East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania and the Massai Mara, Uganda and Rwanda) and South Africa (Botswana and the Okavango Delta) as well as crafting highly-personalized trips to experience the history and culture of Johannesburg and the naturally-beautiful city of Cape Town.
