First of all...Australia is BIG! To say there is so much to see and do here - is an understatement. I've been fortunate to travel here often and explore the more unusual Australian destinations that most people don't know about. By far, my most memorable experience was spending quality time with a First Nations' (recognizing Aboriginal people as the sovereign people of Australia) woman from the beautiful Kakadu National Park region. I was a guest on her native land and heard her stories about marriage customs, her family and food taboos. Essentially, I fell in love with Australia through her life stories, and it's Australia's people who make this destination so special. I want to work with you so that you, too, can share and experience this awesome destination.

To say that my two favorite destinations are far apart geographically and certainly "a world apart" in all that these two exciting and compelling destinations have to offer...is truly an understatement. But once you know what makes each destination so special and enticing... there's no doubt you'll be heading way up north and way "down under" to learn all about Iceland and Australia.

I've grown up traveling. In fact, by the age of 24, I had traveled to, explored and experienced all seven of the world's continents! For the past five years, I have been working full-time as a professional travel advisor (except for one year in 2016 where I had the opportunity to live on Australia's sunny and enticing Gold Coast.) In 2017, as a certified Aussie Specialist, I attended Corroboree West (Australia's premier tourism event held every two years) where I met over 100 of Australia's leading tour operators/special interest companies to learn all about the country's many exciting attractions and activities. Straight from Corroboree West, I joined Tourism Australia for a week-long trip to the remote Outback of Western Australia's Kimberley region - where we explored one of Australia's most striking geological landmarks - the famed, multi-million-year-old tiger-striped mountain range - Bungle Bungles.

My passion for New Zealand and Australia began over two decades ago. My commitment to learn and experience as much as possible about these two compelling destinations is evident in my being recognized as both a New Zealand Gold Kiwi Specialist and as a Premier Aussie Specialist. First, we'll visit Australia together. If shark diving, food tours and wine tastings, an active vacation on the Great Barrier Reef, taking art and history tours, shopping, touring the big cities, learning first-hand about the lifestyle of the Aborigines, viewing magnificent wildlife and spending time in the Outback is piquing your interest...we need to talk! Now, on to New Zealand! From the very first time I stepped foot in this country, I knew this was going to be an enticing, exciting, and diverse destination.

I specialize in Walt Disney World® and Australian vacations. My expertise and experiences in these destinations are invaluable in allowing me to tailor-make vacations to your specific travel wants and needs. So sit back, relax, and let me take care of all the details, so that you can enjoy an unforgettable and stress free vacation. Disney is definitely my first love! I spent a total of two years working at Disney World and Disneyland® Resort. Whether you have kids - or are just a kid at heart, I'd love to share my behind-the-scenes-secrets with you, so you can make the most of your time in the parks rather than waiting in lines all day.

My most recent passion has been planning trips to a different kind of magical destination: Australia. Last year I was named Tourism Australia's first ever U.S. ambassador and have since gone surfing at Bondi Beach, toured wineries in Canberra, and even taken selfies with the Quokkas on Rottnest Island. This "Land Down Under" is my favorite destination! I've been fortunate to visit Australia five times in the last eight years. My most recent visit, with a group of travel professionals, included the Northern Territory and Sydney, where we experienced Darwin, Uluru/Ayers Rock, Alice Springs and the beautiful Kakadu National Park, accompanied by knowledgeable local guides. Other trips have included Cairns, Melbourne, Adelaide and many parts of the Outback. I've especially enjoyed many fascinating and interesting experiences with the Aboriginals, including hiking, painting, and listening to local folklore storytellers.

To me, Australia is my second home! I am proud to be certified as an Aussie Specialist, and I look forward to every visit to this great Land Down Under. My wife and I especially enjoy experiencing this magnificent destination on cruises and excursions. On a recent cruise, we customized our shore excursions to include wineries in Southwest and South Australia, Kangaroo Island, the Barossa Valley, Victoria and Sydney. We've also cruised from New Zealand to Western Australia with a special focus on Tasmania, Melbourne and Sydney. Also, we've sailed north from Sydney through the Great Barrier Reef - a mind-boggling experience. I treasure my time getting to know the wonderful people, learning the history and experiencing first-hand the many different species of wildlife - that live nowhere else on earth.

For over 30 years I have created travel for my clients all over the world. But, my passion is the South Pacific - New Zealand and Australia in particular. A certified gold Kiwi Specialist with Tourism New Zealand, I know all of the adrenaline thrills New Zealand has to offer, including breathtaking scuba diving (I am an avid scuba diver myself), zorbing down hillsides, or bungee jumping. Australia is like a second home to me. It's filled with lifelong friends and connections, that I have made during my 47 visits. I have been a Premier Aussie Specialist with Tourism Australia since its inception.
