One of the best ways to enjoy this “Great Land” is onboard a cruise ship. No matter how many times you’ve cruised the Inside Passage (one of the earth’s best cruising routes), you can expect to see and enjoy something different! Magnificent wildlife, spectacular scenery, and historic towns and villages brimming with culture and charm will only enhance your journey. Land options include several itineraries in either Denali or Glacier Bay National Park. Shore excursions run the gamut from dog-sledding on a glacier to a salmon bake on a private island – attainable only by float plane.

Alaska is truly one of the world's most spectacular destinations - regardless of the season you visit. Options abound! Working together to plan your itinerary, I'll recommend such intriguing options and excursions as to how you can ride the last whistle-stop train in the USA, or plan your itinerary to explore and experience the largest National Park in the USA. Have I piqued your interest? I can also make arrangements for you to take part in a real sled dog tour, or make all your arrangements to take an ATV excursion to the historic village of Talkeetna - nestled at the base of North America's tallest peak, Denali.

I have two specialties in the travel industry: Alaska Cruising and Disney Vacations! We'll start with cruising The Great Land. As a Certified Alaska Expert with over twenty years in the travel industry, I could talk about Alaska for days! There's nothing more exciting than watching - from your private balcony - a glacier calve under a sunny sky. Or exploring the many coves from a kayak, catching a glimpse of the Northern Lights, whale watching in Auke Bay with my favorite boat captain, or sharing in the excitement of seeing a pod of orcas swim near your ship. I plan a variety of Alaska cruise experiences too - from cruises to small-ship expeditions to private charters - as well as land tours into the interior to see Denali National Park and beyond.Let's talk soon and I look forward to sharing my passion, knowledge, and my many experiences of The Last Frontier so that your trip can be as amazing - or even more amazing - than my adventures have been!

Two of my favorite destinations on earth are Alaska and my native California.
Alaska offers unspoiled scenery, vast wilderness, spectacular glaciers, mountains, and wildlife. Travelers are spoiled for choice as our last frontier has a plethora of activities for both the adventurous type and those who prefer to visit ports of call via a luxury ship. Also, there are smaller expedition-style vessels for the active traveler that ply inland waterways for up close wildlife viewing, and often sail where the large ships cannot. In Alaska, you can kayak on the ocean, raft on rivers, watch for whales, hike, bike, or even enjoy an excursion on a vintage gold-rush-era train. The thrilling highlight of one of my journeys was landing on a glacier via an exhilarating helicopter ride!
California also showcases amazing scenery. There are redwood forests to discover, stunning ocean-front destinations like Big Sur, or Steinbeck's historic Monterey and the artist colonies in Carm

In all my travels throughout the world, I keep coming back to Alaska! In my opinion, there is no better destination than our 49th state to embrace the experiences and sheer joy that travel can provide! As you can tell, I'm passionate about this Great Land. And working together, I'll share this passion with you as we discuss whether you want your upcoming Alaska vacation as a cruise, land vacation, or both! Whether you want to embark on a land excursion to observe wildlife, be on the water to watch for whales and view the stunning glaciers, go salmon fishing, dog sledding, enjoy a scenic rail or air excursion, go zip-lining, shopping for one-of-a-kind native gifts, or simply enjoy the scenery and mingle with the locals.... Alaska is all this and so much more! Having toured and visited this state many times, I've made local industry contacts who will assist me in making sure your itinerary is seamless and perfect - regardless of how you choose to enjoy this magnificent destination.

On my most recent visit to the Last Frontier, I experienced multiple destinations that I look forward to recommending to you for your amazing Alaska vacation. While traversing the spectacular landscapes through Anchorage, Seward, Talkeetna, Denali and Fairbanks, I toured multiple hotels, enjoyed special add-on tours, great local attractions, and a variety of cultural interests. I've not only taken multiple cruises on different cruise lines, but explored the best of Alaska by land. I've visited many of the major cities, towns and villages, and sampled local cuisine at many of the most popular restaurants. I've toured local museums, breweries, markets, and had a great time meeting local residents and learning their Alaskan lifestyle and culture.

I trust that after your first visit to Alaska - whether experiencing this Great Land by land or sea -you'll realize that one visit is simply not enough to really appreciate and explore. And I trust you'll feel the same passion and excitement after your first visit to nearby Western Canada. British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba comprise Canada's four westernmost provinces and account for about 30% of the country's land mass, however most visitors are most familiar with British Columbia and Alberta.
