Since beginning my career in the travel industry, I’ve learned a lot. I’ve also learned to make sure I have dependable, knowledgeable contacts on the ground at the destinations I book.

Also, that I’m current on all there is to see and do at your destination – e.g a stop at the 19th century historic Temple Bar in Dublin, or planning a picnic at the stunningly-beautiful 12th century Malahide Castle just a short train ride outside of Dublin – just two of many memorable suggestions to consider. If you’re lost or confused, you will very quickly have a “local” stop and ask if you need assistance and guide you on your way. One final tip… walk as much as possible when given the opportunity. You’ll find the best local pubs and eateries – as well as see and appreciate the most beautiful gardens – if you’re walking. Plus, a couple more suggestions: Tour the Jameson Whiskey factory and enjoy a quick Irish coffee. It will definitely warm you up and set you on your way. And, make a point of stopping at pubs for your lunch and dinner. Not only are the prices reasonable, but you will be getting an authentic Irish meal. Make sure to try the “roast” sandwich.
