My "Aha Moment" was well over two decades ago when I was in Paris for the first time, and I knew right then - looking at the Eiffel Tower - I wanted to be a travel planner to create destination weddings, honeymoons and romantic getaways. The more I educated myself and gained first-hand experience, and was certified by The Travel Institute as a Honeymoon and Wedding Destination Specialist, the more I knew that helping couples celebrate their "I Do's" was the best job in the world! My continued success is based on my personal goal to always listen and get to know you as a couple - in order to determine what will make your special day, honeymoon or romantic getaway unique and perfect - just for you. A wedding in your own hometown can be stressful enough, but planning a wedding and honeymoon at a different venue can add even more stress and anxiety. What I do best is help you sort through the options and details to select the right venue and right resort that matches your ideas and dreams.
Having planned and had my own destination wedding, I personally know the ins and outs of being the bride, as well as the travel advisor. You trust experts to help with your dress and photography. Now, I want you to trust me to arrange and secure the venue, work with the hotel's management and staff to handle the catering, music, accommodations, and officiant; and to plan and implement the air and ground transportation for you, your family and friends. So, that once you're there... all you have to do is CELEBRATE and ENJOY!

We originally started the planning for this trip over a year ago and were all set to depart in March 2020. With obvious apprehension with the spread of Covid-19, we reached out to Michaela who more than anything wanted us to feel comfortable. She rescheduled us for July and again for December, each time helping us navigate the pandemic implications and helping us feel secure in our travel plans. We couldn't have asked for a better consultant!

We were very happy with our trip. One very minor issue I already mentioned to Michaela was that our airline tickets always seemed to be towards the back of the plane or over a wing. For booking flights 7-8 months in advance I would have thought we could get seats more towards the front of the plane. One other thing - we went to an awesome luau but nearly missed it because there is also a luau held frequently at our hotel. We incorrectly assumed we needed to go to it & didn’t pay close attention to the address. Fortunately our luau hostess called to let us know. So although we showed up a bit late, we didn’t miss much. Might be worth making that clearer in future itineraries.

I was very pleased with how Michaela helped with the planning of our trip, from beginning to end. She took care of everything, she made sure we had everything we needed and answered any questions we had and was very responsive. She also let us know what to expect once arriving at our destination and how to navigate through it, which was EXTREMELY helpful. Michaela was great to work with. She went above and beyond to answer her phone at 3 am when our flight got delayed 5 hours with no way to catch our connecting flight. She went to work right away to get us on the next available flight as soon as possible. The flight wasn't until the next day but she then contacted the resort making it possible to add on a day so we didn't loose a day of vacation. She is amazing to work with.
