I trust that after your first visit to Alaska - whether experiencing this Great Land by land or sea -you'll realize that one visit is simply not enough to really appreciate and explore. And I trust you'll feel the same passion and excitement after your first visit to nearby Western Canada. British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba comprise Canada's four westernmost provinces and account for about 30% of the country's land mass, however most visitors are most familiar with British Columbia and Alberta.
These two provinces offer some of the most exquisite scenery in North America. I am often asked my favorite place- it's a short list, with Alberta/Rocky Mountains one of my favorites. In Alberta, Banff offers many adventures - including mountains with Gondola access, wildlife viewing, winter sports and summer beauty, with Banff becoming recognized for its quality cuisine. Lake Louise is one of the most stunning places on the planet and the Icefields Parkway between Jasper and Banff, is one of the most beautiful drives in the world.
Victoria, British Columbia's beautiful downtown is so very British, historic, and exciting. Butchart Gardens and the Parliament Building - just two of the many sights to see and explore. And world-class Vancouver - it's just a short sea-plane ride from Victoria. I have all the details about the best accommodations, making your seaplane reservations, and all that there is to see and do in Western Canada. Want to see polar bears? I can make that happen, too! I can get you there! (And...you may never go back home!)
