I absolutely adore Hawaii! The first time that I traveled to this beautiful destination, I visited two islands: Oahu and Maui. I was teased by what these two islands had to offer and all that I could have experienced IF only I had been able to stay longer. The next time I traveled, I dedicated my entire 8 days to one island - Maui.
For the next trip, I explored the Big Island and the next, Kauai. I continued to return again and again, and finally delved into the tranquil island of Lanai. I learned very quickly that no matter how many times you return, with each exploration, you will see and experience something new. The beauty, history, culture and environment... are all factors that make Hawaii one of the world's most compelling and enticing destinations. There are surprises around every corner, and working together when we plan your itinerary -you will see that your vacation is more - much more than just a resort and beach vacation.
Whether you are eager to hike, learn more about the Hawaiian people and their culture & history, or participate in a variety of outdoor active adventures - I can make it happen. And, if there's something special you are yearning to experience and see, and I don't know all about it, I will work with my local contacts for assistance. When we speak, I may suggest you visit Moloaa Beach on Kauai or venture "up country" to the 100-year-old Komodo store and bakery on your way to the Ali'I Kula lavender farm on Maui or take an intriguing cultural tour of the historic villages on the Big Island.
If I have learned anything about this incredibly diverse and beautiful destination, it is that unless you have more than one week to travel, I suggest focusing on one island at a time. By the end of your vacation, if you are not saying "A hui hou" I did not do my job. I look forward to working with you to plan your Hawaii adventures!
**We are all aware of the catastrophic fires that razed the town of Lahaina on Maui, however, the island should not be discounted for travel. Tourism is still the main economic driver of the island and there are many unaffected areas to explore while they work to rebuild the town over the next few years. Your tourism dollars will help support the livelihood of the locals and aid in rebuilding the town.**
